West Blatchington Primary School

KBH Building Services Ltd recognised the importance of creating a wildlife garden for the school, being in a city area where many of the local children do not have access to a garden of their own. This outdoor space it benefits children greatly! We completed the project from start to finish, we had over fifty team members and volunteers, working together we achieved something we are immensely proud of. Knowing the garden will continue to bring joy and wellbeing to future generations to come is a brilliant feeling.

"I am writing to say a huge thank you for the amazing transformation of our wildlife garden. Both yourself and your team of volunteers have provided us with a very special gift - the use of an incredible outdoor classroom that had sadly become inaccessible. It is an area that our children and wider school community have loved in the past and will now, thanks to your incredible generosity, be able to cherish again". – Rachel Simmonds, Head Teacher

Cumberland Market

Cumberland Market – Peabody requested a facelift to a community centre based near Cumberland Market, initially to redecorate it and make it a more inviting community asset. On survey, KBH identified additional works we could complete to transform the centre including supply and fitting of new vinyl flooring, a canopy for outside and jet washing of the exterior and patio area to the rear. A total of 480 hours of staff volunteered time was spent on the project.

Peabody Charity Golf Day

The event was in aid of the Friends of Bruce House, a small organisation providing vital support to vulnerable people. Bruce House is a small Peabody Community Centre in the heart of Covent Garden. It provides a safe space for social activities and group sessions which are free and open to all. Many of the people accessing the centre are unemployed, on low incomes or struggling with isolation. KBH Haus attended the event and sponsored a "hole". KBH also donated a signed, framed pair of boxing shorts worn by Anthony Joshua which raised further funds at the charity auction.
