Cupboard Door Maintenance

Following a tender submission, KBH Haus was awarded this project to improve the building's ramp and brick work. The brick work and concrete ramp were not wide enough to allow proper access and egress in
time of an emergency. KBH Haus removed the old ramp and laid a new 100m concrete path layer where the
original ramp footprint had been in order to secure the surface. Requiring full demolition and concreting, KBH installed the new semi-permanent ramp once everything was set.

Lancaster West Neighbourhood Team W11, KBH Haus carried out full refurbishment works in occupied and void settings.

Chosen to carry out FRA Works for the flat entrance doors within ‘Bruce
House,' KBH Haus installed full door sets with frames. Additionally, refurbishment to existing damages and finishes was completed by the team.
The works were carried out in line with BM Trada regulations and a BM Trada door certificate was provided on completion.

Electrical Work

Following a competitive tender submission, KBH Haus was awarded the work in conjunction with our partnering company, Inhaus Elemental Solutions. Together, we successfully installed a watercooled air conditioning system throughout the school - a specialist system not requiring any external
components. Previously, the school had applied for planning permission for conventional air conditioning,
but this was rejected by the local planning body. KBH Haus offered a perfect solution to the problem. In addition, we built bespoke, lockable cupboards, in keeping with the classroom setting, whilst preserving the decorative cornice detail throughout the building.

Beyond Autism School

KBH Haus was awarded this project following tender submission. The project started with
an Asbestos Survey, to which Asbestos was identified. This was removed by our approved Asbestos
Removal contractor. A Waste Consignment note and Air Test Certificate were issued to Newham Council.
Scaffolding was erected, and a temporary roof was installed to ensure that there was no water ingress to
the property. We installed new felt batten and a slate finish. We worked alongside building control and
the roof was signed off by building control upon completion.

Tailored Bespoke Solutions

KBH Haus was chosen to renovate the basement of a historic Victorian flat and to provide the
client with a walk-in wardrobe and cinema room.
Works included:
• Basement tank out working alongside ‘Sovereign Chemicals,’ an accredited firm, to design a suitable tanking system with a 10-year warranty.
• A soundproofed cinema room.

Engaged to carry out the property renovation, KBH Haus carried out a double story extension and single level rear extension. Working alongside London Building Control to obtain sign off for the works, all works were carried out by KBH Haus team members. Works included:

Appointed to carry out FRA Works to flat doors and communal areas within a Housing Association Block, KBH Haus ensured the flat doors and communal areas
meet the requirements set out by the Fire Risk Assessor and were in line with BM Trada Regulations.
