Since 2020, KBH Haus has invested and developed a fully owned manufacturing capability for windows and doors. The manufacturing operation spans throughout the EU, with workshops located in Norfolk, United Kingdom and Karlovo, Bulgaria. The entire operation is rigorously driven by Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety management systems to ISO 9001, ISO14001 and ISO 45001. Additionally, KBH Haus has heavily invested in research, development and implementation of a testing system for our windows and doors - unique to the industry.

In 2021, KBH Haus invested in a traditional joinery focused on high-quality windows and doors made in the UK - LA Rosser. Through this unique partnership, KBH Haus is able to build, supply and ship high quality windows and doors directly from the UK to customers.

To support clients with a better experience, KBH Haus has developed a fully owned manufacturing process for windows and doors through our factory partner in Karlovo, Bulgaria. Today, KBH Haus can supply fully owned quality assured products, faster and more affordably to customers.

Timber Doors & Windows

Designed and manufactured entirely under KBH Haus control, the doors and windows are compliant to all UK building regulations and have achieved U-Values as low as 1.5 W/m2. The timber used in manufacturing is all Forest Stewardship Certified (FSC). With extensive expertise in traditional British joinery, our manufacturing team provides expert level service for all types of windows and door styles including: box sash, casement, curved, heritage, intricately glazed doorsets and softwood or hardwood. Typically, the lead time for these products is 4-5 weeks, and we take pride in the excellent references and reputation our client feedback has produced.

Composite Doors

KBH Haus completely owns the composite doors manufacturing process end-to-end for our clients. Shipping from our exclusive EU and UK-partner factories and processing centres, our composite doors are certified, tested and installed by KBH Haus. Quality Management Control to ISO9001 and 3rd party auditing from industry leaders.

Fire Safety Doors

KBH Haus is proud to be certified by two rigorous 3rd party certifications schemes for fire safety and security in timber doorsets: Warrington Fire's Certifire and Certisecure scheme and BM TRADA's Q-Mark and Enhanced Security Fire Door Manufacturer. Together these constitute the basis for the Secured by Design Accreditation held by KBH Haus. Additionally, KBH Haus has successfully implemented primary testing in UKAS certified labs to the following standards:

BS 6375-1:2015 - Weather-tightness
BS 6375 - 2&3:2009 - Strength and Durability
PAS24: 2016 - Enhanced Security

Having been extensively 3rd party audited and continuing to carry out at least two annual audits by independent industry experts of our in-house manufactured doorsets, we are confident they meet all client expectations for compliance with fire safety and building regulations while also keeping residents safe in their homes. Our lead times are 3-4 weeks for these doorsets.

UPVC Windows & Doors

The latest addition to our manufacturing capability is our brand new production line for manufacturing UPVC windows and doors. We have partnered with the German industry leader Pro-Fine group, who are well known in the UK through their Kommerling and Greenline branded profiles. Made from recycled UPVC core, with 7 chambers, these profiles ensure a positive environmental impact as old recycled windows are converted into the building blocks for the new ones while maintaining U values as low as 1.4 and being PAS24 Enhanced Security compliant.

KBH Haus is committed to working with highly trained, fully certified and insured team members for all jobs we are involved in. All windows are installed by FENSA certified operatives, fire safety doors are installed by BM TRADA Q-MARK certified teams and we carry out extensive skills-based training across our workshops on a continuous basis to ensure methods, processes, skills and knowledge are kept at the cutting edge. Across our organisation, operatives hold various NVQs and specialist training diplomas in their trades.
