ECONOMIC SUPPORT

St Mungo's - Skills Centre

We’ve worked closely with St Mungo's incredible Construction Skills Centre, helping them by supplying materials and resources needed to deliver their accredited courses in plumbing, electrics and more.
Our team has supplied and installed piping for live flushing, a large worktop and unit and two fire doors to enhance hands-on learning. We also set up electrics testing equipment, with our Contract Manager Ben providing all resources and expertise to support their new programme.

It’s been inspiring to see people gaining skills for future success—proud to be part of this impactful initiative!

SOCIAL IMPACT

Pembury Elder’s Christmas Lunch

On Wednesday, 27th November 2024, KBH was proud to support the Pembury Elder’s Christmas Lunch, held at the Pembury Community Centre, Hackney. This wonderful event brought together local elders for a festive day of hot Christmas dinner, entertainment and community spirit.

Our team gave their time to set up the lunch, serve meals to the guests, and ensure everything ran smoothly by assisting with the cleanup. We were also delighted to host the raffle and provide gifts to make the celebration even more special.

It was a privilege to be part of such a meaningful occasion and contribute to creating a warm, joyful experience for the local community.

Together, we celebrate the power of connection and the importance of giving back

ECONOMIC SUPPORT

Charlton Triangle Christmas Gifts

KBH proudly supported the Charlton Triangle community by contributing £500 towards a festive Christmas lunch held on 5th December. The event brought families and neighbours together to celebrate the holiday season with good food, laughter, and community spirit.

In addition to the financial contribution, KBH generously donated a further £500 worth of raffle prizes, ensuring that every child in attendance received a special gift, including a selection box to spread some extra holiday cheer.

We’re delighted to have been part of this wonderful occasion and to support the Charlton Triangle community in making the season memorable for all.

ECONOMIC SUPPORT

The Homeless Soldier Project 2024-2025

We are honoured to support the Homeless Soldier Project. The Regiment Support Service runs this vital initiative to provide much needed financial aid, accommodation and reintegration programmes for homeless soldiers across the United Kingdom.

Receiving this certificate of appreciation reminds us of the power of coming together for a meaningful cause, especially during these challenging financial times.

SOCIAL IMPACT

Green Space, Enfield Foyer, Edmonton

Making a Difference Together!

We spent a wonderful afternoon at Enfield Foyer, Edmonton with the amazing residents of Christian Action, helping to clear and tidy their communal garden.

The garden was disused, but now it's a place where residents can relax, socialise and enjoy being outside. We're proud to have played a part in creating a space that fosters wellbeing, community and connection. We look forward to returning and making some additional improvements…watch this space!

SOCIAL IMPACT

Three Butterflies Nursery

Over two weekends, our team worked hard help Three Butterflies Nursery in Lewisham. The nursery is a vital community resource for the @peabodyldn residents and their little ones. This community hub makes a significant impact and helps ensure that all children in the area have access to the care and early education they deserve.

Here's what we’ve donated, made and installed:

• Brand new nursery signage
• Parents' noticeboards
• Cosy entrance seating area
• Busy boards toys for the babies
• Tidied up the overgrown garden
• Window planters and a planting station
• Floating shelves & room divider
• Weatherproof shelter around the entrance
• Gate protection to keep animals out
• Sandpit refresh with new lining and sand
• Bug hotels for our little explorers
• Made planters for little green fingers!
• Constructed a wall partition
• Laid repurposed carpet tiles – donated by Mulalley & Co

We believe in the power of giving back to spaces that shape our community. It was a labour of love and we couldn’t be more proud to help support this wonderful centre!
