KBH Supports Breast Cancer Awareness

KBH Haus is committed to serving our communities through social value initiatives and events. Recently, we traded our yellow work vests for bright pink to team up with our client Peabody, and the staff of Charlton Triangle, and bring awareness to a disease that affects millions of women each year: breast cancer.

We are proud to stand with the community in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Week and had an amazing day working with the incredible staff at Charlton Triangle to make a positive impact in the fight against breast cancer.

Together, we can make a difference and spread awareness. Let's unite for a brighter, cancer-free future!

The Felix Project Combating Food Poverty

The Felix Project believes in a vision of London where no-one goes hungry and good food is never wasted. The Felix Project aims to combat food waste and distribute surplus food to community organisations. Peabody asked KBH Haus if we could support them in their cause and without hesitation we made a financial contribution.

SOCIAL IMPACT

Notting Hill Genesis Christmas Appeal

KBH Haus supported the most vulnerable Notting Hill Genesis residents, living in homeless hostels and refuges for women and children fleeing domestic violence at Christmas. We made a financial contribution and we hope to make many more in future years to support the residents we serve.

Metro Bank Financial Planning

We understand the link between financial wellbeing and good mental health, and therefore aim to support communities to improve financial wellbeing by providing information, advice and guidance about debt management and relief. KBH Haus organised a financial educational and employability session for the residents of our client Christian Action Housing.

Pembury Estate Planters

KBH Haus built sleepers and planted a range of beautiful flowers to brighten the Pembury Estate in Hackney. Community gardens play a vital role in spreading joy, cleaning up the environment and helping to create a nicer living environment. We love to transform areas in need of some care.

Improving Outdoor Communal Spaces

Spending time outdoors and engaging with natural environments has been shown to have numerous benefits for mental and physical well-being. Belmore House has one hundred residents and ten staff members who benefitted from the improvement to the outdoor space. A relaxing environment to get a little needed rest bite.
